“We, as Undergraduate Members of women's fraternities, stand for good scholarship….”-Panhellenic Creed
The Panhellenic Council recognizes the month of October to be The Month of the Scholar. The NPC Academic Excellence Challenge extends recognition to Panhellenics that improve their all-sorority GPA by 0.1 or greater.
Scholarship is very important to the UConn Panhellenic Chapters and is highlighted by UConn Panhellenic. As and Bs contests, library hours, and chapter GPA are ways that the council is able to recognize and encourage those chapters that stand out academically. Panhellenic and IFC at UConn have teamed up to have bi-weekly Scholarship Roundtables where all scholarship chairs from the chapters can come together, collect academic resources and openly exchange ideas as well as create and improve their chapter’s academic plans.
