The Husky Village is a new housing area that opened in Fall 2004 for the Fraternities and Sororities at UConn. This new area offers 303 beds in six three-story buildings; four buildings offer 60 beds each, and two buildings offer 30 beds. Each building is split in half and each half houses one organization. Buildings A-D are the largest buildings housing a total of 240 residents, these buildings are referred to as "The Thirties". Buildings E & F have a total of 60 residents and are referred to as "The Fifteens".

The double occupancy bedrooms in both the 15 & 30 person units are: 176 square feet (11' x 16'). The multipurpose room in a 15 person unit is 250 square feet (12'6" x 20'). In a 30 person unit, it is 432 square feet (18' x 24'). The Chapter Office sizes are: 15 person unit: 108 square feet (9' x 12'); 30 person unit: 156 square feet (12' x 13').

Kitchen sizes: 15 person unit: 144 square feet (12' x 12'); 30 person unit: 161 square feet (11'6" x 14'). Number of bathrooms in both 15 and 30 person units are 3. The number of levels/stories in all buildings is also 3.

Furnishings: Each unit is furnished with an extra-long twin size bed, small bureau, desk and chair. Each room has data/video/voice and central air-conditioning. Homemade lofts are not allowed. Mattress sizes are 80" x 36".

Meal Plan: Residents will be required to purchase the least expensive meal-plan offered through University Dining Services. This plan will provide for meals offered through University dining halls and include a meal "point" component. Residents can purchase a more expensive plan if they wish. A newly renovated Towers dining facility opened in 2003 adjacent to Husky Village, which is located in the Towers Residential Complex.
